UV Light Purification

Ultraviolet light possesses just the right amount of energy to break organic molecular bonds. As micro-organisms pass by the UV rays radiated from the ultraviolet lamp, this bond breakage translates into cellular or genetic damage for micro-organisms, such as germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi (like molds), etc. This results in the destruction of the micro-organisms.

The Plug In Plus Natural Air Purification System provides bacteria, mold, odor and VOCs (chemical odors) reduction. The advantage of the Plug In Plus is its ability to be used in any room and be completely inconspicuous. The Plug In Plus plugs directly into a wall outlet and can be used with or without its internal fan.

Because it has its own outlets as part of the unit you do not lose the wall outlet you will actually gain 2 new outlets. The Plug In Plus is an air treatment system not a filter.

The HVAC-PHI Cells are easily mounted into air conditioning and heating system air ducts where most sick building problems start. UV-C Germicidal Lamps

Mold and bacteria build up on an air conditioner coil will give you the following indoor air and other problems: Mold Odors, Airborne Mold, Increased mold colonization of environment, etc. The problem comes to play when the filtered, often not so filtered, return air deposits mold spores and bacteria on the moist coil surfaces (most air conditioner filters will not filter mold spores and bacteria and actual act as a breeding ground for mold and bacteria).

As the air conditioner system cycles on and off, the air conditioner gets damp, old and warm, this wet dark environment is a perfect breeding ground for mold and bacteria. Many forms of mold love this atmosphere in addition Listeria, a bacterium that loves ice bins and air conditioner systems. Listeria is known for its ability to cause large outbreaks of food poisoning in restaurants.
